The Arkansas Dept. of Health's main campus was evacuated after a nitric acid spill Monday afternoon.

A jar containing the acid was broken after being dropped by a worker. The worker left the scene after being badly burned on her feet. She later went to the hospital emergency room for care.

It took a hazardous materials team about two hours to clean up the acid, according to a fire department official.
